Our parent company, Electronic Filing Center, started business the first year that the Internal Revenue Service offered electronic filing of income tax returns in 1987. The wait time for your refund was shortened from the 6-8 months with the old paper return method to less than two weeks with electronic filing and direct deposit into your bank account. Over the years, we have offered in-person professional income tax preparation to many clients at an affordable price and without upcharge options.

With the Covid-19 pandemic shut-down with the EMERGENCY ORDER #12 SAFER AT HOME ORDER on March 23, 2020, we decided to build a website that would allow us to offer income tax preparation to more clients without the need to meet in-person.

TaxPros.Online allows clients to send their tax documents from the safety and leisure of their homes to our Professional Tax Preparers (TaxPros). Our TaxPros then prepare your income tax returns using the documents you submitted. Should questions arise, the TaxPros can message back and forth with you using Secure Message, which is part of our encrypted website. Once the returns are completed, a PDF of your returns are uploaded to the website for your review and signature. Once signed, your tax returns are efiled with the IRS and state agencies. The PDF of your tax returns and a PDF of all the supporting documents will remain available on the website should you need to access them in the future.
